Hello to any of my creatively-minded Plant Peeps! For those of you who (like me) love all things botanical-themed including stationery, washi tape, and stickers, you are going to LOVE this plants sticker book!
the Best plant sticker book
Just recently, I ordered some mundane household staples from Amazon. I soon found myself in the “Recommended For You” rabbithole courtesy of the Amazon algorithm. The next thing I knew, I was looking at gold-foiled washi tape and brush pens, wondering, “how the heck did I end up here?”
Fortunately, amongst my “Recommended For You” suggestions was this gem— The Botanist’s Sticker Anthology! It is a hardbound book with 231 pages of botanical-themed stickers, reminiscent of old Victorian-age scientific illustrations. The inclusion of entomological (insect) illustrations brings to mind the artwork of pioneering female naturalist Maria Sibylla Merian.
So if you want to see a little bit more inside this book, keep reading below!
Plant Sticker Book Tour
Individual stickers
This plant sticker book has sections for many different biomes, including: Desert, Rainforest, Aquatic, Woodland and Garden. However, the plant categorization seems pretty loose, and the majority of the pages seem to be organized by color.
The image and printing quality is excellent. The sticker paper has a smooth matte finish with a bit of a sheen. Each sticker is kiss-cut and peels easily.
A couple of spreads dedicated to aquatic plants like seaweeds and waterlilies…
The majority of the book features terrestrial plants.
As mentioned before, the categorization of plants is somewhat loose. It would make more sense to put orchids into the “Rainforest” section instead of the “Garden” section, but c’est la vie!
You can obviously see how vibrant some of the colors are.
There are even two spreads dedicated entirely to mushrooms! As you may be able to deduce, some of these stickers are quite large. A few of them, like the giant cluster of mushrooms on the top left-hand page, are about five inches long. That’s almost as big as my hand!
As you have probably noticed, there is a broad and extensive diversity of plants and insects represented in this book. And yes, there are a few spider illustrations, in case you’re an arachnophobe. Just putting that warning out there!
There are many other decorative elements available in this book, including ornate, floral letters and floral frames. They are perfect for adding a vintage vibe to your journal or scrapbook designs.
In the next two photos below, you’ll notice that the florals are mostly grouped together by color. These are only two examples out of the entire book, which pretty much encompasses the entire color spectrum. Any color that you need for your project or journal spread, you can probably find something that works well in this book.
The next three photos are a few examples of additional full-page floral spreads with large, kiss-cut circles or rectangles on each page. Unfortunately, the shapes are impossible to see in the photos, so you’ll have to take my word for it!

Full Page Designs
Between each botanical sticker spread are these green floral full-sheet sticker pages. I do have to point out, there are quite a few of these. If I had one complaint, it would probably be the fact that there are so many. But, if you’re the crafty type, it should be easy to use them for your journaling, scrapbooking or other papercrafts. They would be great to stick on and decorate journal covers, like a traveler’s notebook refill.
I hope you enjoyed this little tour of The Botanist’s Sticker Anthology book! I promise that there are substantially more pages of stickers than the ones that I’ve featured here. Unfortunately, putting in 231 images would be too much for this blog post.
Final Thoughts
Overall, The Botanist’s Sticker Anthology is the perfect gift for yourself or for someone in your life who loves plants, stickers and stationery! It’s also fun for kids, so don’t be surprised when your walls become covered with flower and bug stickers.
One drawback (but is it really?) is that this plant sticker book is so beautiful, it almost makes it hard to want to remove any stickers. You may want to consider getting two books at a time―one to use and one to look at and enjoy. Many of the customer reviewers admit the same thing on Amazon. I may just have to do that myself!
Always Keep Creating,
Heather (a.k.a. The Botanical Chick)
