When I say that I love everything plant-related, I’m really not kidding. Maybe it’s just me and my weirdness, but I’m pretty certain I’m just attracted to the color green and to leafy shapes in general! But, come on, can you blame me? Plants and flowers make everything look better!
In addition to my love for plants of all kinds, I also love art and crafting, and all of the supplies associated with it; Sketchbooks, journals and pretty paper? Yes. Pens, brushes, pencils and markers? Yes. Stickers, washi tape and everything stationery? Um, heck yes! Botanical stationery accessories just makes everything better.
After all, with COVID lockdown, it’s not like any of us can really go anywhere…or do anything…
So you’ll probably see a lot more creative stuff and supply hauls in the future! Most of it will be plant-themed (botanical lifestyle, anyone?), but some things may not be, just an FYI. Fortunately, it seems like a lot of gardeners and plant people are quite creative, so hopefully there will be a little bit of something for everyone!
But back to the topic of stationery!
In the past, I’ve usually purchased stationery supplies from Aliexpress because of their affordability and variety. I may purchase more in the future, but with COVID drastically slowing down international shipments, I’ve decided to refrain. A normal 2-3 week shipment via ePacket pre-COVID can now take 3-5 months. I’m pretty good with delayed gratification, but even that is really pushing it!
I had no idea that Amazon carried so much stationery items like washi and stickers until I started searching a few weeks ago. But I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, because, after all, it’s Amazon…
So are you ready for a stationery haul?
First up, all these plant-themed stickers. They come in a bundle of 4 different packs, each with six sheets per pack for a total of 24 sheets.
The colors are so fresh and harmonious. Just looking at them makes me happy.
The succulent stickers are beautiful shades of pastel, as you can see. The semi-transparent nature of the sticker paper would definitely allow the stickers to blend in cleanly wherever you put them (as long as you’re sticking them to white paper, that is).
This sticker pack features vibrant cacti and succulents with a watercolor-y effect, as well as some black-and-white line drawings. Now I’m kind of in the mood to do some watercolors…
And last, but not least, we have the very last sticker pack filled with various flowers and many types of foliage. I’d say this sticker bundle has a nice variety of designs at a decent price point. Have any of you guys purchased these same stickers? Share what you’re using them for in the comments!
Next, we have a nice box of green-themed washi tape. I don’t do much bullet journaling, but I do have a Passion Planner that I love to decorate as I plan my personal life goals. Who said that goals can’t be pretty at the same time?
Below are some swatches that I’ve made in my Washi Swatch Book, just to give you all a better idea of what each design looks like. They’re not in any particular order, FYI.
So, are you tempted to get some of these for yourself or as a gift? Do you have a favorite?
Stay tuned for many more stationery and art supply hauls in the future! I’ll also post tutorials on craft DIYs like handcarving botanical stamps and many other things!
Always Keep Creating,
Heather (a.k.a. The Botanical Chick)
